Confidence flags

Every load-bearing claim carries one of:

• ✓ verified primary — directly cited to an SEC filing, peer-reviewed paper, LWLG press release, or other authoritative primary source. Verification date noted.
• ◐ partial / secondary — cited to an aggregator (stockcircle, secform4, Insider Monkey, Ticker Report), a paywalled source we extracted via summary, or a community post that cross-references but doesn't reproduce the primary. Treat as >75% likely correct but not independently re-verifiable.
• ⚠ unverified / speculative — community claim, single-source rumor, or speculation. Always partitioned into clearly-labeled sections. Treat as a hypothesis, not a fact.

Primary-source priority

When sources conflict, primacy:

1. SEC EDGAR filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, DEF 14A, Form 4, S-3, 424B5, CORRESP/UPLOAD)
2. LWLG press releases and corporate-investor PDFs (Jan 2026 deck, ASM 2025 slides)
3. Foundry / partner press releases (Tower, GlobalFoundries, Marvell, Polariton)
4. Peer-reviewed academic papers (Nature Photonics, APL Photonics, OFC/ECOC proceedings)
5. Conference recordings and slide decks (PIC International, IEEE SiPhotonics, OFC, ECOC)
6. Aggregator summaries of primary sources (stockcircle, fintel, last10k)
7. Community posts (Reddit r/LWLG, InvestorsHub)

EDGAR archive

All 685 LWLG SEC filings (2005-04-27 → 2026-04-21, 173 MB) are archived locally with a per-filing catalog. The fetch script uses a compliant SEC User-Agent and rate-limits to 5 req/sec per SEC fair-access policy. See EDGAR full catalog.

Community archive

Reddit r/LWLG: full archive of 1,000 most-recent posts via Playwright (Reddit listing API caps at 1,000). InvestorsHub LWLG board: ongoing scrape via Playwright (~233K posts target, currently at ~17.5%). High-signal posts are surfaced via combined-score (upvotes + comments + body length) and integrated into community_forum_findings.

Daily rebuild

At 5:30 PM ET each day, the site rebuilds. Pipeline:

1. EDGAR ATOM feed → check for new filings since last build.
2. Yahoo / Stooq → pull yesterday's OHLC.
3. FINRA short-interest XML → pull current bi-weekly series (when available).
4. Reddit / IH scrapers → pull any new high-signal posts.
5. Auto-generate "what changed today" diff vs. yesterday's snapshot.
6. Astro static build → Cloudflare Pages deploy.

What this site is NOT

• NOT a real-time price ticker. The intra-day price is a build-time snapshot.
